Woman Pleads Guilty In Avon Victoria's Secret Pepper-Spraying
A Hartford woman has pleaded guilty to charges that she pepper sprayed a Victoria's Secret employee and stole merchandise.
AVON, CT - A Hartford woman has pleaded guilty to charges that she pepper sprayed a Victoria's Secret employee and stole merchandise, the Hartford Courant reported. Chambriell Strickland, 26, will be sentenced in April to 2 1/2 years in prison and 3 1/2 years of special parole.
She admitted to using pepper spray on an employee while trying to leave with $1,346 in merchandise she didn't pay for. She also admitted to stealing $1,245 in merchandise from a Lord & Taylor at the Westfarms Mall, according to the Courant.
