Bethel Library Offers Free Summer Reading Program
This year's theme for the summer reading program at the Bethel Public Library is 'A Universe of Stories.'
From Bethel Public Library:The Bethel Public Library is the place to be for all-ages summer reading fun! Whether a parent reading to a toddler, a child learning to read, or a teen or adult avid reader, being part of a summer reading program can enhance everyone's experience. So read, play, and win great prizes by joining the Bethel Public Library's summer reading program.
It is easy to participate because we use Beanstack, the online way to record reading and win prizes! Come to the Library to sign up or register online through the Library's website www.bethellibrary.org.
It takes just a few minutes to join, and the Beanstack software lets users log books and days and
keeps readers on track to earn prizes. To celebrate the all-ages aspect of the program, the Library will present a concert on Saturday June 22 featuring "The Survivors," a group of seven seasoned professional musicians who will be in the Library's Lincoln Courtyard playing tunes for dancing and singing along. All ages will enjoy the music spanning styles from Swing to the Beatles! No registration is required and the concert is open to the public.
