Bethel PD: Mom 'Deliberately' Left Child Found Wandering Streets
Police charged a local mom with reckless endangerment after they found her 3-year-old daughter wandering outside without any shoes
BETHEL, CT — A local mother was charged with reckless endangerment after her 3-year-old daughter was found wandering outside alone with no shoes on.
Bethel officers were called to Grassy Plain Street on Wednesday morning with a report of the unattended toddler walking down the sidewalk.
The police apprehended Graciela Rojas-Amon, 44, after they say they had determined she "deliberately left her child unattended for a short period of time which resulted in the child leaving the residence."

Police charged Rojas-Amon with second-degree reckless endangerment. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 29.
