Bethel Police: Man Offered Ride To Young Girl

BETHEL, CT — Police are seeking the public's assistance in their investigation of a man whom they say offered a young girl a ride Monday morning.

Bethel police have reported that at approximately 8:10 a.m., an older model gold 2-door Saturn with an older, bald, white man driving, stopped and asked a young girl running to catch the school bus if she wanted a ride.

The incident, which occurred in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Andrews Street, was witnessed by the girl's mother, according to police. The license plate number was not obtained.
