How did you come up with the name?

My children and the children I care for is what brings me sunshine in my life and that’s why I chose that name.

Why start a business in this town?

I live in Bethel and chose to operate an in-home daycare that’s licensed to stay home with my kids 15 years ago and I’m still going strong.

Briefly, what business are you in?

I am the owner/operator of a licensed in home daycare which I am licensed for 6 full time and 3 before and after school age children. (2 infants under 2 years old.)

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

I would have to say the proudest moment I have every time a child gives me a hug and kiss. It shows me I mean something to that child. I teach them and help them grow.

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?

I am able to help a working parent know the children are loved and well taken care of when they are at work. I give back to Bethel the experience of years of raising my own children and the communities families.
