Why start a business in this town?
Bethel is such a nice, small town. We wanted to open in a town that was rich in history. It’s also part of the reason we moved to Bethel to live.

Briefly, what business are you in?
Antiques, vintage furnishings and art.
What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
Figuring out the best hours to operate.
What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
Our favorite moments have been getting to know the customers. Since we’ve only been open for less than two weeks, our favorite moment so far was finalizing the display windows. They get so much attention from people walking by!
How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
The Traveling Wilder gives back to the community through our “Consignment for Charity.” Profits go to the charity of your choice. We also feature other local artists, displaying their work in our store and hosting gallery nights for free.
