BETHEL, CT — A car went off the road, hit a tree, and then landed in a private driveway on Old Hawleyville Road.

The accident occurred around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The occupants of the car were able to extricate themselves before the arrival of Stony Hill Fire & EMS.
