Portion of Taylor Ave. Closing for Six Days Starting Friday
The roadway will be closed to all traffic while crews repair the Metro-North railroad crossing.
Bethel residents and local commuters should avoid Taylor Ave. for the next week, as the area around the railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic starting Friday and continuing through Wednesday, July 2.
The state Department of Transportation (DOT) will be closing the roadway in the area of the crossing to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic while crews work on repairs and upgrades.
Follow detour signs for alternate routes.
