Wells Fargo Bank has announced a free home-buyer workshop for Saturday, May 21 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank of Bethel, located at 159 Greenwood Ave. Attendees will find out what it takes to become a homeowner, how to prepare for one of the largest purchases most people make and learn about finding, financing and owning a home in today's real-estate market. The workshop will also cover the benefits and costs of owning a home, credit basics, home-financing basics and the loan application process.
