Administration Announced for All Saints Catholic Academy
Reverend Christopher Ford, Pastor of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Woodbridge, has been appointed Chair of the school board.

New Haven, CT - The leadership has been announced for All Saints Catholic Academy (ASCA), the newly created World School to be located at the current site of St. Francis and St. Rose of Lima School at 423 Ferry Street in New Haven. All Saints Catholic Academy is being formed from the merger of three New Haven Catholic elementary schools: Catholic Academy of New Haven, St. Bernadette School, and St. Francis and St. Rose of Lima School.
The new administration will be led by Sr. Diane Mastroianni, ASCJ who has been appointed as the first principal of All Saints Catholic Academy. Sister Diane comes to ASCA with a background rich in Catholic school education and a deep commitment to serving in a city setting. With ties to the New Haven area, Sister is looking forward enthusiastically to meeting the families of All Saints Catholic Academy and to building a strong faith community. She will be working in partnership with Reverend Christopher Ford, Pastor of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Woodbridge who has been appointed Chair of the newly formed All Saints Catholic Academy School Board.
According to Sister Mary Grace Walsh, ASCJ, Ph.D., Provost for Education, Evangelization and Catechesis in the Archdiocese of Hartford, “The creation of All Saints Catholic Academy ushers in a new era for Catholic elementary school education in New Haven, providing area children with an outstanding global education and a solid foundation in faith.”

A Message from Fr. Ford
Having served recently on the Ad Hoc committee to advise the Archdiocese on the consolidation of Catholic Schools in New Haven and on the search committee to select a principal for the newly created All Saints Catholic Academy in the Fair Haven section of New Haven, I am very pleased and excited to be appointed as Chair of the new school board.

I’m sure many of you, like me, have been saddened by the closing of so many Catholic schools in recent years, especially in our inner cities where they are most needed. I’m confident, however, that the new model under the leadership of Sr. Diane Mastroanni, ASCJ, will be, effective and sustainable in the education and faith formation of the children of New Haven.
I hope and pray that many of our parishioners will be interested in partnering with me in helping the All Saints Catholic Academy in fulfilling this important mission of our local Church.
