Amity Regional Ranked 12th Best School System in Connecticut in 2017

Data compiler Niche.com recently released its 2017 list of the best school districts throughout the nation and in Connecticut, and many familiar districts once again received high ranks.

In fact, a total of seven Connecticut districts were listed among the top 100 in the country, and two districts were among the top 15. Westport was named Connecticut’s best school district in 2017, according to Niche.com's data. Other local districts that received high marks include New Canaan, Greenwich, Weston, Glastonbury, Darien, and Simsbury.

To get to these results, Niche analyzed academic and student-life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data and ratings collected from millions of Niche users. Read how the ranking was calculated here.

Here are the Connecticut school districts that appeared on the national top 100 list:
