The Yale-New Haven Hospital medical staff elected Lynn Tanoue, MD, of Woodbridge, as the new president-elect.

The Yale-New Haven Hospital medical staff elected Lynn Tanoue, MD, of Woodbridge, as the new president-elect. She will serve a two-year term on the medical board, which sponsors about 20 committees to evaluate and improve the professional activities of the medical staff and the quality of healthcare at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Tanoue is professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine and vice-chair for clinical affairs in the Department of Internal Medicine. She is director of the Winchester Chest Clinic at Yale-New Haven Hospital, co-director of the Yale Cancer Center Thoracic Oncology Program, and director of the Yale Lung Screening and Nodule Program. Dr. Tanoue graduated from Yale School of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine and pulmonary/critical care medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
