Garden Club of Woodbridge Maintains Gardens During Pandemic
Gardening during the COVID-19 Outbreak

Pat Croasmun, chairwoman of Civic Beautification for the Garden Club of Woodbridge, assisted by Jane Gelernter and other members from the club, continue to maintain gardens at the Darling House, the Woodbridge Town Library and the Adella Baldwin Stuart garden (at the corner of Meeting House Lane and Center Street) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Adella Baldwin Stuart garden is shown in the attached photo from last year.
Gardeners wear masks and abide by the Governor's Executive Order, working for the most part individually or with one other person, maintaining the required social distance. The members are cutting back spent flowers, edging, pruning and doing all other upkeep that is necessary. When the garden care is completed, club members will lay down mulch and plant annuals at the various locations.
The club will continue to maintain the gardens throughout the summer and fall seasons.
