Garden Club of Woodbridge members Linda Cedarbaum and Montse Lopez-Vila showed a well-attended gathering how to make "Potpourri from Your Garden" at the November 7 meeting. Earlier in the season members were asked to save and dry robust blossoms and interesting seeds from their summer gardens to use for the potpourri. Scented oils, dried orange and lemon slices, dried flowers, seeds, anise, cinnamon sticks and more were provided by the hosts to add to what the members brought. After choosing dried items, members added their favorite, fragrant oils. Everyone went home with a large bag full of potpourri.
