The name was already established. It brings such pride to the community, that it only seemed right to keep its original name.

Why start a business in this town?

Growing up in Bethany, the florist was the go-to place for every occasion; whether it be flowers, a birthday present, prom corsages, or a little something for yourself. It is beautifully located on route 63, just before the Bethany-Woodbridge line.

Briefly, what business are you in?

Florist, including fresh cut bouquets, arrangements, funerals and weddings, as well as, gifts.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

As a young entrepreneur, it is always scary starting on a great new adventure. Keeping my ideas for this business in line with a real timeline has been discipling and a great learning experience. I am constantly looking to learn and grow, while keeping up with the high standards and great customer service this business has provided the community for the last 28 years.

Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?

Becoming an entrepreneur was the most gratifying decision I have made in my life. I look at everyday as a challenge, a chance to learn, to grow and add just a little more beauty to the world and a special customer’s day. :)

How do you deal with difficult customers?

We are fortunate to have truly fantastic customers. We try to cater to every customer’s needs, every day. We know that even a difficult situation with a customer can easily be smoothed out with active listening and understanding!

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?

Donations may be in small amounts , but we are always looking to become a presence in community events. Bethany is filled with small businesses and we need to support one another
