Man Charged With Burglary, Assault: Woodbridge Police
The accused was initially unable to post his $10,000 bond, police said.
WOODBRIDGE, CT — A West Haven man has been charged with assault and burglary offenses, Woodbridge Police announced this week. On March 21, members of the Woodbridge Police Department served an active criminal arrest warrant for John Calash, 40, of Ardell Street in West Haven, who turned himself in at Woodbridge Police Headquarters, police said.
Calash’s arrest stems from a March 2019 dispute at a residence, police said. Calash was charged with second-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree burglary, and disorderly conduct. He was unable to post his $10,000.00 bond.
After being processed Calash was transported to New Haven Superior Court for his arraignment.
