Man Stole Checks, Cash From Car: Woodbridge Police

The car was being serviced at a local business at the time of the reported theft.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A New Haven man is accused of stealing checks and cash from a vehicle that was being serviced at a local business, police said.

On May 26, 2019 members of the Woodbridge Police Department served a criminal arrest warrant for Demetrian Glover, 43, of Ella Grasso Boulevard in New Haven, who was taken into custody by the New Haven Police Department, police said.

Glover’s arrest stems from a July 2018 incident where checks and cash were stolen from a vehicle being serviced at a local business, police said.

Glover was charged with third-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, and criminal attempt to commit third-degree larceny. He was unable to post his $5,000 bond.
