New Tuck's Tavern is Now Open in Naugatuck
Tuck's Tavern (as in Nauga - TUCK) is located on the Rubber Avenue Extension in the borough. Check out what is on the regular menu.
Naugatuck, CT - Tuck’s Tavern recently opened on Rubber Avenue Ext. in Naugatuck. The new owners have done extensive renovations on the building, so much so that patrons of the former incarnation may not recognize it. There is seating at the bar, as well as high and regular tables available. I urge you to visit Tuck’s and check out the location and the menu.
In addition to the usual bar beverages, the extensive menu offers wings, starters, soups and salads, sandwiches, sides, sweet treats, and a build-a-burger section.
On my visit to Tuck’s shortly after they officially opened, I tried the classic American burger that was on the previous version of the menu. I remember that it had cheese, lettuce and tomato and it was very good. Even better were the hand-cut French fries that came along on the metal tray. There were some soft drinks available that were listed by the very friendly waitress when I asked her. The mother of one of the owners was helping with the lunch crowd during my visit and she was nice enough to come over to my table to speak with me while I enjoyed my lunch. Overall, the staff was very friendly and welcoming to a person dining alone.

There is a wide selection of wings on the regular menu sure to appeal to every taste. The wings offered include BBQ, buffalo, Cajun butter, Cajun garlic, Cajun honey, garlic Parmesan, honey hot, red/white/blue and teriyaki, as well as a naked version. Doesn’t the teriyaki sound good for those of us who are not into spicy foods? Wings are available with 6, 12, 18, and 24 pieces and other flavors are available upon request.

Starters on the regular menu include American Poutine, Brezel Bites, the classic chicken tenders, chips and salsa, fried greens, fried mozzarella, loaded spuds, nachos, quesadillas and smoked gouda-bacon bites which are served with home-make marinara sauce.
