Obituary: Daniel Richo, 42, of Bethany
Daniel, a loving son and brother, enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, hiking and backpacking across the country.
BETHANY, CT - (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home) Daniel Richo, 42, of Bethany passed peacefully after a 20 year battle with a brain tumor. He is survived by his parents Frank & Jeana, brothers Frank and Bill, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A lifelong resident of Bethany, he was an Eagle Scout from Troop 931. He loved gardening, the outdoors, hiking, and backpacking many places in the United States.
He studied forestry at the University of Maine, and horticulture at NVCC. He played many instruments, and was a member of his college and church choirs.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass, SATURDAY, 11 A.M., in Our lady of the Assumption Church, Woodbridge.
Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our lady of the Assumption Church, or the charity of one's choice.
