Obituary: Doris Anne Catania Polinsky, 80, formerly of Bethany
Doris, known for her fashion, flair and style, had a love of art, sewing, cooking, entertaining and cherished her time with family.
BETHANY, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) In Harwinton, May 2, 2021, Doris Anne Catania Polinsky, 80, of Harwinton, formerly of Bethany and Cheshire, beloved wife of William G. Polinsky, Jr., loving mother of Eric M. Polinsky (Andrea) of Woodbridge, Mark A. Polinsky (Traci) of Harwinton, William K. Polinsky (Krista) of North Haven, Sarah Monaco (Carmine) of Wallingford.
Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Rae, Sean, Carmine, Matthew, Luna, and Alex. Doris was born in New Haven on January 6, 1940, daughter of the late Felice and Anna DelaCorte Catania.
Known for her fashion, flair and style, Doris had a love of art, sewing, cooking, entertaining and anything that involved bringing her family together.
She fought a courageous four-year battle with cancer, and the family is grateful for the amazing care that Rosalie, Sue and Eileen provided.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Rita Church. Masks will be required. Burial will be private.
