“Loving husband, father and grandfather”
Joseph G. DellaRose, 59, of Prospect passed away peacefully on October 10, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Moran) DellaRose.
Joseph was born August 16, 1960 in Waterbury, a son of the late George and Antoinette (Tortorici) DellaRose. He was a graduate of Crosby High School and Kaynor Technical School as a Machinist. Joe was a devoted and humble family man who found his greatest pleasure being with his family and friends. He was an accomplished Little League Baseball coach in the town of Prospect for many years and spent countless hours at the Baseball diamonds. He was a proud member of the Prospect Little League Hall of Fame. Joe was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, the New York Knicks and the Miami Dolphins.
Besides his loving wife and high school sweetheart of 37 years, he leaves his son George F. DellaRose and his fiancée Allison LaCroix of Middletown, his daughters Angela Laude and her husband Matthew of Bristol, Gina Nunes and her husband Darren of Rocky Hill, Deanna DellaRose and her husband Alexandre Schuina of Waterbury, his grandchildren Crew DellaRose, Jackson Nunes, Ana and Jay Schuina, his sister in laws Rose, Sue, Janet and Mary, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Anthony V. DellaRose.
Arrangements: Funeral Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 9 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT to Saint Anthony Church in Prospect for Mass at 10. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
