Bethany, CT - Joseph Michael Johnson, of Friendswood, TX, formerly of Bethany, CT passed away December 18, 2019 in Houston, TX. Born in New Haven, CT on December 28, 1993 the beloved son of Kris and Suzanne (Perrotti)Johnson, Joseph was a 2012 graduate of Amity High School where he played football and lacrosse. He is the husband of Korinne Mickens. Devoted father of Gianni Johnson and Brooklyn Brazier. Brother of Emily, Matthew, and Alexander Johnson. Grandson of Pasquale Perrotti and the late Rosemarie Perrotti and Darrel and Dorothy Johnson. Son-in-law of Stanley and Sakeena Mickens. Joseph is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was a loving, compassionate person who had the kindest heart and loved all who he encountered. He was an avid fan of the NY Giants and enjoyed the outdoors and making people laugh.

Visiting hours were held in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Our Lady the Assumption Mother Church 1700 Litchfield Tnpk. in Woodbridge. Burial followed in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
