Obituary: Nicole Ashley Silva, 26, of Bethany

Nicole, a symbol of beauty and grace, was a lover of life. She worked as a paraprofessional for Woodbridge Public Schools as well as ACES.

BETHANY, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) Nicole Ashley Silva, 26, of Bethany, passed away Thursday, June 17,2021 as a result of an automobile accident.

Nicole Silva was loved by Judy Silva (mother), Richard Silva (father), Courtney Silva (sister), Frank and Linda Silva (grandparents), Richard Sr. and Cheri Silva (grandparents), Phyllis Jannino - deceased (grandmother), Lainey Silva (aunt), Jamie and Tammy Silva (aunt and uncle), Janine Silva-Arietta (aunt), Danielle Silva (aunt), cousins, and so many more.

She was born Aug. 14,1994 in Stoneham, MA and was a graduate of Amity High School, Class of 2012 and earned her BA Degree in Psychology from the University of New Haven in 2016.

Nicole was employed as a paraprofessional for the Woodbridge Board of Education and also worked at ACES and was a bartender at Consiglio's Restaurant in New Haven.

Nicole was a lover of life and enjoyed singing and listening to music. She was funny, kind and compassionate, but she was also a bit introverted.

To all who knew her, she was a symbol of beauty and grace and she was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious smile, big beautiful brown eyes, and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be deeply missed.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 pm at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden. A graveside service will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in Carrington Cemetery, Rainbow Rd., Bethany.

Friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery on Wednesday morning.

Nicole dedicated her life to caring for others.
