'Talk of the Town' Guest Hosts Announced

WATR news director and talk producer Christopher Fortier has released the line up of guest hosts for Steve Noxon next week.

WATERBURY - A group of community advocates and veteran media personalities will take to the talk radio airwaves on WATR 1320 AM next week.

The station's flagship program, "Talk of the Town," will be fronted by special guest hosts Tuesday through Friday while regular host Steve Noxon is on vacation.


Podcast host and city political activist Liz Bullard of Waterbury will host on Tuesday; John Murray, editor and publisher of the Waterbury Observer on Wednesday; activist and 2019 Waterbury mayoral candidate Tyler McElrath will take the helm on Thursday with members of the Waterbury Community Collective; and longtime Connecticut radio and TV personality Larry Rifkin will round out the week on Friday, taking over on the show he hosted from 2010 to 2017.
