Backyard composting is an excellent strategy for homeowners to reduce waste and lower their carbon footprint. Compost enriches the soil and helps retain oxygen and nutrients. Composting also diverts food waste from the landfill.
Follow this link for more details and to purchase. Compost bins and rain barrels will be available for pick up at the Town’s Earth Day event on the morning of Saturday April 24 from 9-11 am.
