Wanted Man Gives Police Several False Names: Woodbridge Police
The accused is being held in lieu of a $201,000 bond, police say.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A wanted Meriden man gave police several false names and is now held in lieu of a $201,000 bond, police said. On Jan. 24, members of the Woodbridge Police Department were conducting motor vehicle enforcement in the area of Litchfield Turnpike and Lucy Street when the accused was seen operating a vehicle northbound on Litchfield Turnpike that was unregistered, police said.
Upon speaking with the vehicle’s operator, he provided several different names, police said. Ultimately, the operator was positively identified as Jamel Fuller, 27, of Saratoga Way in Meriden, who had had an active criminal re-arrest warrant issued for his failure to appear in court, police said. Fuller was arrested and charged with first-degree failure to appear, criminal impersonation and various motor vehicle offenses.
Fuller was held on a $201,000.00 bond and was transported to New Haven Superior Court on January 24, 2019 for his arraignment.
