Woman Robbed At Gunpoint While Pumping Gas In Woodbridge: Police
The woman was robbed by two men who stole her purse, jewelry and vehicle, according to police.
WOODBRIDGE, CT — A woman was robbed at gunpoint while she was pumping gas early Thursday morning in Woodbridge, according to police. The robbery took place around 1 a.m. at a gas station/convenience store on Litchfield Turnpike (Route 69), according to police.
Police said the woman was fueling her car when another vehicle pulled up alongside her at the gas pumps. Two men got out of that car, brandished a gun, and forcibly stole her purse and jewelry, along with her vehicle, according to police.
A similar incident happened in Hamden earlier this week. A woman was robbed of her vehicle at gunpoint while she was pumping gas at a 7-Eleven in Hamden at about 4 a.m.
