Woodbridge Fire Department Honored with Life Safety Achievement Award
The department was recognized for its successful fire prevention efforts.
The Woodbridge Fire Department was recently presented with an achievement award by the National Association of State Fire Marshals Research and Education Foundation for its fire prevention accomplishments in 2013, the Amity Observer reported.
The award was presented in partnership with Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company.
The Woodbridge Volunteer Fire Department is one of 142 fire departments across the United States to receive the award this year.

The Life Safety Achievement Award recognizes fire departments for their fire prevention programs that have been proven to save lives year after year, said Alan Clark, Assistant Vice President of Special Investigations for Grinnell Mutual, the publication reports.
