Woodbridge Man Left Dog In Hot Car: Southbury PD

The owners were arrested.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Two people were arrested after they left their dog in a 113-degree vehicle Saturday, according to police.

A bulldog was removed from the vehicle at Southbury Plaza around 5 p.m., according to the Republican-American. The dog was slightly dehydrated and the car's windows were only down about an inch.

Louis Deleon, 49, of Woodbridge and Samantha Chounard, 23, of Waterbury were charged with animal cruelty.
