2 Dead In Bridgeport Wrong-Way Crash: Police
Two people died in a car wreck on Route 25 over the weekend.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Two people are dead following a wrong-way crash on Route 25 early Sunday morning, according to state police. Kye Jackson, 28, of 171 Wooster Ave. in Stratford, and Tyler Stevens, 22, of 40 Woodfield Drive in Shelton, died in the wreck.
Jackson was driving a 2002 Nissan Maxima southbound on Route 25 south near exit 3 at 2:19 a.m. Stevens was driving a 2004 Buick LeSabre north in the southbound lane, according to police.
Stevens struck Jackson's car head-on. Emergency responders pronounced both drivers dead at the time of the crash.
