2 Killed In Shooting At Illegal Nightclub In Bridgeport: Report
The shooting occurred early Sunday and the site used to be a former church, according to reports.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police are investigating after a Stamford man, 40, and a Bloomfield man, 38, were killed in an early Sunday shooting at what authorities are calling an "illegal nightclub," according to media reports including the New Haven Register.
The shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. at 1023 Main St. The names of the two victims has not yet been released.
A heavy police presence remains in the area while authorities investigate.

News 12 CT reports that the illegal after-hours nightclub was being run out of a basement and that the club used to be a former church. Roads near the crime scene are closed.
