Bridgeport PD Seeks Help Identifying Abandoned Child
The child, believed to be about 5 years old, was abandoned on a street corner in Bridgeport on March 31.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A young boy, believed to be about 5 years old, was left on a street corner in Bridgeport on March 31, and police are asking for the public's help in identifying him.
The child was left near Burroughs and East Main streets at about 5:40 p.m. on the 31st by a Black woman in a white Infiniti, Bridgeport police wrote on the department's Twitter page. See the tweet and photo below.
The child is also Black, but he has "disabilities that prohibit him from providing ID."

Police said the child is safely under the care of the state Department of Children and Families. Anyone with any information about the child is urged to contact Bridgeport police at 203-576-TIPS .
