BRIDGEPORT, CT — A car crashed into a Dairy Queen Thursday afternoon, according to News 12. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident and the store will be open today.
No one was in front of the business located at 949 Huntington Road at the time of the accident, which was surprising as employees said the store is usually busy with long lines on hot summer days.
The wreck occurred at about 3 p.m. A woman driving the car hit the accelerator when the car was drive instead of reverse, according to The Connecticut Post.

The woman fainted and was transported to the hospital. There was considerable damage to the building, including broken glass, but the owner told The Connecticut Post that they were up and running after five hours of cleaning.
This marks the second time in recent days that a car has crashed into a Bridgeport business. Earlier this week, a car slammed into Tony's Smoke Shop, injuring two, including a passenger who was listed in critical condition.

In that crash, a speeding car driven by a 23-year-old Seymour man was traveling southbound on Main Street when he lost control of his 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, crossed into the southbound lane, left the road, and crashed into the shop.
