Car Crushed on Seaside Avenue in Black Rock
Police Closes Road As Tree Blocks Road as Power Lines Were Downed During Storm
The high winds, thunderstorm and torrential rain that fell on Sunday, June 30, 2019 caused many trees and power lines to come down throughout the City of Bridgeport.
One neighborhood particularly impacted was the Black Rock neighborhood. A tree came down on Seaside Avenue bringing down powerlines and forcing the Police Department to close the road.
Area residents are advised to drive with caution and beware of detours until UI and city crews can address all the damage.
