Bridgeport City Council Member Thomas McCarthy will be celebrating his 44th Birthday at a benefit for the Greater Bridgeport St. Patrick's Day Celebration Committee. He will be joined by other past Grand Marshals including Dave Howe, Connie & Art Beagan, Cathy Brannelly Austin and Maura Brannelly O’Malley.

The Karaoke DJ is Leigh Henry and he will have special Irish songs in addition to his vast collection. Admission to the fundraiser is only $5 per person and it is open to the public. There will be dinner and drink specials, and of course, birthday cake! A special raffle will be held to raise additional funds for the parade.

The Host Committee helping plan this event includes Fred Garrity Jr., Liz Gilbert Defeo, Patty Brady and Peg Crossin. No reservations are necessary and tickets are purchased at the door. For more information, contact John Brannelly at jbrannelly@aol.com
