A baby girl named Madeline Grace O'Malley was the first baby born in the City Bridgeport, Conn. in the new year at Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health.
Madeline 'Maddie' O'Malley was born to Rachel and Jack O'Malley of Fairfield. Maddie was born on January 1, 2019 at 9:04 PM and weighed in at 5 pounds 0 ounces. Baby, mother and father are all reportedly doing well.
Maddie was joined by grandparents Maura and Denis O'Malley of Bridgeport and Susan Barry and John Connor of Madison.
