Former 'Top Chef' Star To Open Bridgeport Restaurant
Former 'Top Chef' star Chris Scott is set to open a chicken shack-style restaurant soon.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Former Top Chef season 15 star Chris Scott is bringing his culinary talents to Bridgeport with his new concept Birdman Juke Joint.
Birdman is set to open in late February or March, according to Food & Wine. Originally he wanted to launch the restaurant in Philadelphia, but it was cost prohibitive. His partners are also from the Nutmeg State.
The concept of the restaurant will be a chicken shack with fried and smoked chicken along with classic southern cuisine. It'll also feature classic southern desserts like peach cobbler in soft ice cream form.
