Ganim Urges Bridgeport To Adhere To Parking Ban Thursday
Plow trucks are experiencing a difficult time clearing roads.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — With snow continuing to fall in Bridgeport and throughout the state Thursday, Mayor Joe Ganim is urging residents to adhere to the parking ban as part of the snow emergency declared for the city.
Plow trucks are having a difficult time clearing many secondary roads around the city, he posted Thursday afternoon on his Twitter page.

Bridgeport Storm update: plows doing well clearing primary roads, but plows and emergency vehicles are having trouble getting through on secondary roads because residents are not adhering to the snow emergency parking ban. do not go out in your car unless absolutely necessary.

If you do need to drive anywhere in Bridgeport, remember that it is even side of the street parking only today. We are now towing cars to make enough room for plows and emergency vehicles. There are snow emergency lots available - find them online at https://t.co/vt6Cd5kymA
