Kolbe Cathedral Holds Position In Latest Girls Basketball Poll

One new team entered the top 10 for the first time this season in the most recent weekly balloting.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Three teams moved up, five held their positions and one snuck into the top 10 of the latest weekly girls basketball poll of Connecticut high school coaches and sports media members.

New London, which collected 14 of 20 first-place votes, solidified its grip on the top spot, while Trumbull (six first-place votes), Norwalk and Notre Dame-Fairfield each advanced a place from the previous week.

Kolbe Cathedral High School retained its position from last week, placing eighth in the most recent balloting.
