Man Tried To Bribe Bridgeport Cop: Report
A Waterbury man is facing charges that he attempted to bribe a Bridgeport police officer.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Waterbury man was arrested on charges that he attempted to bribe a police officer, according to The Connecticut Post. Richard Davis is accused of telling an officer to take some cash and thrust a handful of bills at the officer.
Davis, of Harvard Street, Waterbury, was charged with bribery, possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell, The Connecticut Post reported.
He was held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
