Nearly 3k Without Power in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, CT — More than 2,900 customers are without power in Bridgeport, according to United Illuminating as of 12:30 p.m.

The outages represent 4.81 percent of the company's customer base in the city.

There is a wind advisory from the National Weather Service in many parts of Connecticut including Bridgeport. Gusts up to 55 mph are possibly until 6 p.m. Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph are also possible.
