Obit: Joan Hardy, 79, Of Bridgeport

Joan Mae Hardy, age 79, of Bridgeport entered into rest on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at her daughters home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Bridgeport, on June 1, 1939 daughter of the late Martin and Jennie (Tomish) Bonkoski and was a lifelong Bridgeport resident. Joan was a bookkeeper at several local businesses for many years before her retirement. She is the beloved mother of Cheryl Rice, Donna Hardy and Janis Hardy and sister of Edward Bonkoski. Joan is the loving grandmother of Matthew Thibodeau, Cassidy Rice, Jillian Rice and Kyle Rice. Joan was preceded in death by her loving sisters Carol, and her sister Beatrice.
