Obituary: Michael A. Brown, 59, Of Bridgeport
Michael was a beloved and humorous carpenter who owned his own carpentry business until he retired.

Michael Alrick Brown (aka "Bunny"), 59, of Bridgeport, passed away at home on December 16, 2019. Michael was born in Manchester, Jamaica on January 9, 1960 to Myrtle Adassa Davis and George Samuel Brown. Michael was predeceased by - and is now reunited with - his mother Myrtle in 2014, whom he missed dearly.
Michael's kind spirit and many fond memories are carried on by his son, Daniel Brown, his daughter, Hillary Brown, and his wife, Sonia Plummer-Brown; sisters Andrea Brown and Erica Parris of Tampa, Florida, brothers Neville Brown and Bevington (aka "Morris") Brown of Stamford, Connecticut, his father George, nieces and nephews, and many friends and relatives.

Michael attended Porus Primary and Secondary school in Jamaica. He was a graduate of the apprenticeship program through the Carpenter's Local 210 and a member of the Local 210 Carpenter's Union.
Michael was a beloved and humorous carpenter who owned his own carpentry business until he retired. He loved to garden, cook, play his records, watch western movies, and to share a good laugh with family and friends. After many years of illness, he is finally at peace. Michael would have liked to thank the wonderful staff at the DeVita center in Fairfield, CT who were always so kind and treated him well.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 5 p.m. at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, CT. Friends and family may call on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
