Michael A. Massarella, 31, husband of Alesia Massarella, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 20, 2019.
Born in Stamford, CT and raised in Fairfield, Michael was the son of Albert and Anna Capocci Massarella. Michael lived in Bridgeport for several years and worked in Southern CT as a skilled electrician. Michael, a golf fanatic, enjoyed homemade (Italian) cooking with and for his family -- following unwritten recipes from his cherished grandmother.

Michael was a Jets and Yankees fan even through the bad seasons. His sweet tooth was insatiable. More than anything, he loved the times that he spent with his children.
Michael is survived by his adoring wife, Alesia, and his beloved son and namesake, Michael as well as his precious Giovanni, his loving parents Albert and Anna Massarella of Myrtle Beach, SC. He leaves behind his devout family, Gerry and his wife Josephine Capocci and their family, Joseph and Emily Conetta and their family, Armando and Debbie Massarella and Maria Fusarelli and her family.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 25, from 4-8 p.m., at Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield. Services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, located at 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield, with burial to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
