THE big question is just ''WHERE DID THE FIFTHIES ERA GO?"IT seems like just yesterday I ran home from school in time to watch AMERICAN BANDSTAND with DICK CLARK.Those were great days alright.THE portable radios entertained us too BACK IN THE DAY with guys like ALAN FREED,SCOTT MUNI and a host of others.THE DOO-WOP sound was the craze.TODAY cell phones just about entertain us in so many ways.Lets'roll the calendar back to the 50's era and give thought to the music,the clothes styles,the cars,the record hops.YES it was a special time growing up in that time frame.LIFE was simple for us kids.WE went to school,stopped off for a coke-at H.L.GREENS with our friends and headed home to catch the big hits on the bandstand show.NOW reflecting backwords for now I am 77 years old and boy we came a long way since the good times.NOW society is caught up in another craze THE COVID 19 .MY GOD we went from great times to a struggle to keep alive society.I only wish we could turn back time and recapture the moments and stay in that era instead of how we face a dilemma daily with the threat of disease.WE need to reflect where we have been in the past and smile remembering the good days as we face an uncertain future.
