All of southern Connecticut is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook, which calls for threats of flash flooding and a possible, albeit low, chance of damaging winds. There is also a wind advisory in place in Bridgeport.

Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. High near 71. Breezy, with a southeast wind 18 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tonight
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Steady temperature around 68. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 7 to 12 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Wednesday
Showers likely, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 68. Northeast wind 7 to 9 mph becoming southwest in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
