Cheshire, CT (March 16th, 2020)- Adams Hometown Market will be opening all of its locations exclusively during the first opening hour of each morning, 7:00am – 8:00am, to assist the elderly and their caregivers, immunocompromised citizens and first responders to ensure that they will have the safest shopping experience possible. Adams Hometown Market will provide a designated person at the entrance to greet guests and to ensure that they are walking into a freshly sanitized store in a low-crowd environment.

Russ Greenlaw, Executive Vice-President of Adams Hometown Market stated “It is crucial in these times of need, that our stores work to provide a helping hand to the elderly and their caregivers, immunocompromised citizens and first responders. Adams will help in any way possible to serve the communities in which we reside in.” Russ continued to state that “We take care of the people who are working overtime during these pressing times. The grocery store is the center of the community as well as ‘The Heart of the Community.’ We want to make sure our doors are open and we are ready to assist those who need us most.”

This program, “The Heart of the Community,” will be effective immediately starting on Tuesday, March 17th at 7:00am at all Adams Hometown Market locations across Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island. This program is put in place to actively assist the impact of COVID-19. Please see the locations below.
