Calcagni Real Estate president Steven Calcagni announces the appointment of residential sales agents Gabrielle Siegel of Hamden and Beth Allen-Byrd of Cheshire to the company’s Hamden office.

A lifelong resident of New Haven County, Gabrielle Siegel currently lives in Hamden. Before becoming a REALTOR, she worked in design and branding. It was there that she learned to pay special attention to details and gained an appreciation for what beautifies a home and a neighborhood. Siegel describes herself as “familiar with too many towns to mention” and loves that Connecticut offers residents the unique opportunity to choose between urban, suburban, and rural living without ever sacrificing easy access to scenery, shopping, gourmet restaurants, or even multiple aquariums. She calls the state “drop dead gorgeous year round.” Her advice to newcomers? Take a walk. It’s the best way to meet neighbors, make friends, and learn about local spots and what makes a community come to life.

Beth Allen-Byrd has lived in Central Connecticut her entire life. She grew up in Wallingford and has lived in Cheshire for the last 20 years. She has worked as a sales manager responsible for a cosmetic container company’s multimillion dollar accounts and as vice president of marketing for an event planning company. Ultimately, it was her home decorating hobby that led her to a career as a REALTOR. Allen-Byrd has always enjoyed helping friends select paint colors, accessories, window treatments, and more. Over the years, that has morphed into a deeper love and appreciation for what makes a house a home. When she is not working or singing in her band, Allen-Byrd loves spending time with her family.
