Cheshire Couple Honored by MS Society

Appreciation plaques were given to to Don and Jenifer Walsh at a recent MS Society event to recognize the couple as top fundraisers in the state.

Don Walsh was named the third top fundraiser in the state, raising more than $24,000 in 2011. His "Team Jenifer" raised $29,886.

In 2011 the Cheshire walk site raised $243,000, making it one of the largest sites in the state. This year’s walk on April 22 is expected to attract 10,000 participants statewide to raise approximately $1.4 million.
