
Cheshire Human Services will host "Supporting Families of Children with Autism" on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Cheshire Senior Center, 240 Maple Ave.
The event includes a presentation by PATH Parent to Parent/Family Voices of Connecticut. About 1 in 88 children are identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder and autism occurs in all racial, ethnic, social and economic groups. It is almost five times more common among boys than among girls.
